Veeam Availability Suite Deploys for VMware Cloud on AWS

As enterprises move to the cloud, ensuring data availability becomes critical. Recently Veeam has made its Availability Suite for cloud environments available to enterprise clients using the VMware Cloud on AWS infrastructure.

Veeam, ranked #27 in the Forbes Cloud 100 List and positioned as industry leader regarding customer service in delivering digital life experiences anytime and anywhere, provides availability solutions for multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.

The solutions are deployed regardless of whether the environment is private, public, managed or SaaS (Software as a Service).

The news is a major game-changer because VMware Cloud on AWS technology partners enable customers to deploy the same proven solutions seamlessly in both the public and the private cloud.

The Veeam-VMware-AWS cloud solutions will unite the capabilities of VMware vSphere, vSAN and NSX in private, public and hybrid cloud environments and advanced AWS services.

The end solution will further accelerate adoption of hybrid cloud implementations at an enterprise level, while also leveraging investment in Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) technologies.

“Solutions such as Veeam Availability Suite enable IT teams to reduce cost, increase efficiency and create operational consistency across cloud environments,” commented Mark Lohmeyer, Vice President, products, Cloud Platforms Business Unit, VMware.

Veeam will further enhance native private VMware Cloud on public AWS capabilities and empower customers with flexibility and choice in solutions that can drive business value.
